"Everything's for Sale" at The Hitchin Post. Our specialty in horses is kid-safe/husband proof trail horses, along with registered paint/quarter horses. Currently we have several horses for sale. 1. JFK Mare -- This TN Walking Horse mare is 3 years old. She is 15.2 HH. She is solid black with a little star on her head. She is very smooth and has only been trail ridden...no arena riding to speak of. She is like a "DR Trimmer" in the woods -- if you point her to it, she will go through it. She is out of WGC JFK lines. Will also make an excellent broodmare. Very gentle and loving. She has very sweet eyes! $1000.

2. "Kricket" is a bay TN Walking Horse filly. She is out of a stallion known as "Jose's Caballeria" and mare known as "Ultra Cracklin Rosie". The mare is from old TWH lines, such as Triple Threat. WGC lines on both sides. Kricket is a big foal and she is cute! Ready to wean around the first of August. Have one other TN Walking Horse filly for sale. $600.
3. TATER is his name...showing is his game! Check out this fine gelding! "How D Mr Exceptionist" is put together very well! He is currently showing in halter as a yearling. After the first of the year, train him in most any discipline, from trail riding to timed events, to pleasure -- western or english. He is VERY mild mannered. Tater is on a deworming, feed, and exercise program. He stands for the ferrier, bathes, clips, loads, cross-ties, and will stand tied to the trailer all day at a show if you ask him. Tater longes very well. He looks great showing! He is out of a stallion we own called "Exceptionist" (Sonnys Zip Code/Zip to Impress Lines) and a mare known as "How D Coy Lady" (Tee Jay Roman") lines. Both parents have super dispositions and have passed it on to this fine gelding. Tater is double registered APHA & PtHA as a solid/breeding stock. He is calm enough as a yearling to make a great youth project for an older youth in open, 4H, or APHA shows. Eligible for APHA Breeders Trust. Up to date on shots, current negative coggins. $2500.
4. This is "Kacie". (Docs Super Exception APHA Pending). Check her out! This beautiful paint filly is bred for you! She is capable of doing whatever you want to train her to do! She is out of a stallion known as "Exceptionist" (Sonnys Zip Code/Zip to Impress lines) and her mother is a quarter horse from Doc Bar and Coosa/Impressive lines. She is very gentle and friendly. Her markings are very unique, especially the "hook" over her left eye. She is eligible for APHA Breeders Trust. Kacie will be an awesome halter exhibit for 4H, open, or APHA shows.
